Not just a creative hub. This is a family. An actual family. A once power couple of film, tv, advertising and theater who escaped a brutal dictatorship and settled in the Mecca for storytelling and filmmaking.
Prakriti Maduro
Actress, writer, theater junkie, director.

Prakriti is a writer, director, playwright, Berlinale Talent and TEDx speaker. She’s a published author of children's books and poetry; and her theater plays have been produced and staged in LATAM and U.S.
Recipient of the Fundación Carolina Scholarship for playwriting and theater directing in Madrid. Alumni of The Lee Strasberg Institute in LA. She was the head writer in a writer's room for content development during her last years in Venezuela where she developed a handful of projects for a variety of international clients.

Marcel Rasquin
Writer, director, producer, drummer.

Marcel Rasquin is a Venezuelan filmmaker based in LA. He’s a Sundance 2020 Feature Film Program Alumni and the recipient of the NBC Universal Global Talent Fellowship. Writer, director and producer with over 20 years of experience in film, tv, theater, and advertisement. His first feature HERMANO won The Grand Prix of the Moscow International Film Festival with Luc Besson presiding the jury. It was the Venezuelan candidate for the Foreign Language Film Category at the Academy Awards and was theatrically released in US territory by MusicBox Films.
Marcel is also the co-founder of one of Venezuela’s most prestigious production companies: TRES. He co-produced award winning international features such as The Night of the Two Moons, Once Upon a Time in Venezuela, and Point Break. He is one of the producers of the box-office success and cultural phenomenon: Simón (2023), Diego Vicentini's debut feature film.
